Big Fish Contest Rules

D&R Sports Center's
2011 BIG FISH CONTEST

    D & R Sports Center’s Big Fish Contest begins Sunday, May 1st and runs through Wednesday, August 31st.

    Rules:
        · There is NO entry fee!
        · Anglers 17 years old and up must have a valid fishing license
        · All entries must be caught within 50 miles of Kalamazoo
        · NO private pond or private lake entries allowed
        · NO FROZEN FISH will be accepted
        · Anglers may enter a total of three fish per day for the contest
        · Fish that are still alive or on ice can be entered

    Fourteen different species of fish may be entered in the contest:
        · Rainbow trout/steelhead
        · Brown trout
        · Brook trout
        · Lake trout
        · Salmon
        · Catfish
        · Crappie
        · Bluegill/sunfish
        · Largemouth bass
        · Smallmouth bass
        · Perch
        · Walleye
        · Musky
        · Northern pike

    D & R Sports Center is the ONLY official weigh-in station, located at:
        8178 W. Main St. Kalamazoo, MI 49009

    The top three entries in each category will be posted in the standings each week.

    At the close of the contest, entries in first, second and third place will receive a gift card for D & R Sports
    Center. There will be one Grand Prize awarded. ALL ENTRIES, no matter what size, will have a chance at the Grand
    Prize.
